Beginner Practice in Motivational Interviewing Techniques
Service Description
This two-hour practice session helps beginners build confidence in Motivational Interviewing through hands-on, guided application. Focused on the OARS framework—Open-ended questions, Affirmations, Reflective listening, and Summarizing— and the Engaging process of MI, participants engage in immersive roleplay, structured exercises, and real-world scenarios. Limited to 10 participants, this interactive practice session ensures personalized coaching and meaningful practice in building rapport, navigating ambivalence, and fostering motivation across healthcare, education, leadership, and social service settings.
Cancellation Policy
Our Preplanned Trainings are priced at a flat rate ($250/hr) of active facilitation time. Prices shown are per session, not per participant. That means that a 2-hour Preplanned Training for 30 participants at your organization would cost $500 plus any applicable taxes. Please note that while we can accommodate large audiences for virtual trainings, in-person trainings may be capped based on limitations of your space. For in-person trainings, we recommend you schedule a free consultation. Cancellations for Preplanned Trainings must be made in writing at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled time and date of the service. With less than 48 hours' notice, refunds will not be given for cancellations of in-person or virtual Preplanned Trainings. Refunds will be issued for cancellations received 48 hours or more in advance of the scheduled time and date of the service.
