About

Trauma-informed leadership fosters resilience, trust, and psychological safety. By recognizing the impact of past experiences on individuals and teams, trauma-informed leaders create environments where people feel supported, understood, and empowered to succeed. This approach enhances communication, reduces workplace stress, and strengthens organizational culture, leading to higher engagement, better collaboration, and sustained well-being. Our Trauma-Informed Leadership training equips you with the skills to lead with empathy, awareness, and strategy, helping teams thrive in a way that is both compassionate and effective.

In this session, we will explore the harm caused by workplace cultures that ask employees, whether directly or indirectly, to "leave emotions at the door," before examining the neurobiology of stress and trauma. From this scientific standpoint, we begin to draw our own collaborative conclusions about the benefits of bringing trauma-informed approaches directly into leadership practice. As with many other of our leadership trainings, we will conclude the session with a call to action that asks you to identify an action step you can take to create a trauma-informed environment for yourself and your team.

This four-hour interactive course is facilitated live, and it is available both in-person (Albuquerque and Santa Fe) and virtually through Zoom.
